The Ship House is one of the most significant monuments of architecture of Abuja. This is a white building with an impressive design, reminiscent of a ship built in 1975. It is a complex reinforced concrete structure with many windows. The building houses the Ministry of Defence of Nigeria, provides administrative and support services of the Armed Forces of the country. The Ship House is a vulnerable location, therefore guarded day and night by armed surveillance.
