Fotofestival Visions of Green Cities
| 5 September-28 september 2025 Hal 23 inner courtyard, Hanzelaan, Zwolle (backside station NS station) Stichting De Stad Verbeeldt, presents photographic stories by photographers such as Baukje Venema and Gerlinde Schrijver, alongside works by amateur photographers, students of Deltion and Cibap, and pupils of Meander College. As part of the festival, I present my project Visions on Green, in which I explore the periphery of Zwolle. At the city’s edges I photographed places where urban development and nature intersect, zones of transition that reveal how the city relates to its green surroundings. This year the festival also hosts the travelling exhibition of the Zilveren Camera, returning to Zwolle for the seventh time. With more than 150 works of journalistic and documentary photography, it offers a unique overview of the most significant events of 2024. The exhibition features ten categories and includes award-winning storytelling projects by Çigdem Yüksel, Kadir van Lohuizen, and Hester den Boer. Opening: Thursday 3 September 20:00-22:00 hrs |
